Performance management hybrid is a methodology framework that incorporates the qualitative and quantitative metrics mix into performance dashboards.

Performance management hybrid, a relatively new approach that involves the "interbreeding" between two distinctive sources of data analysis impacting on metrics, normally visualized in organizations through performance dashboards.

Traditionally, data analytics focused on the known quantitative "outputs", in data marts and data warehouses organized for decision makers as metrics or KPI's in performance dashboards.

The New approach to incorporate a "mix" or "interbreeding" between the two models, provided a Performance Dashboard Hybrid approach. The insight gained by mixing the traditional performance indicators with competency management through a qualitative process analysis, created a platform for "linkage" between the competency and the results obtained.

The Hybrid Process

The Hybrid process involves the breakdown of lead indicators into qualitative measurable processes, that can be objectively measured using the behavioral model of measurement through observational behaviors.

This hybrid approach and methodology applied to performance dashboard tools, has become known and presented in events as the "Performance Management Hybrid".

The performance management hybrid is sometimes interchanged with hybrid performance management, but either can be used to describe this dual system of analytical performance management.
