Zeenia Roy

Zeenia Roy is an Indian Playback singer in Bollywood and Tollywood movies. She was awarded the Mirchi Music Award for the best debut in 2012 and has since been considered one of the freshest voices in the Bengali movie industry. Her latest albums (movies) include C/O Sir, Doshomi, Mukti, Balukabela.com etc. Roy is currently also serving as a producer in the Bengali Television industry. She has sung numerous OSTs for different TV sitcoms.
Early career
Roy has done the background score for movies like Karan Johar's My Name is Khan, Sanjay Leela Bansali's Saawariya and Farhan Akhtar's Don 2. Aside from this she has also done playback for the Telugu movie Manasu Mata Viradu and several religious bhajans. Roy was earlier a regular singer at Mumbai's Siddhivinayak Ganpati Temple.
A.R. Rahman World Tour
Roy featured in the "Jai Ho: The Journey Home" concert alongside singers like Hariharan, A.R. Rahman and Benny Dayal. The concert was a major success and paved the way for many international shows that Roy has undertaken in an individual capacity as well as apart of different troupes.
Personal life
Roy is married to music director Raja Narayan Deb. Brought up in Jamshedpur, Roy studied in Jamshedpur and Mumbai and lived in Mumbai until her marriage in late 2012.
