Sandhya jk is a versatile Indian singer. She lent her voice to Telugu, Tamil,Malayalam and Kannada films. She has sung about 500 songs to date. Which includes devotional and albums. Sandhya was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh . Her father P.S.Ramachandra rao was a well-known singer and her paternal Aunt/ Mother In Law DR P.Susheela is a prolific singer in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and many other languages
She is married to DR.P.Susheela‘s son MR.Jayakrishna and has 2 kids Jayashree and shubashree. She also started MUSE cultral foundation with Kaali Sudheer an art curator.
Started her singing career under the guidance of her mother in law Dr. P. susheela, she debuted with A.R.Rahman for the movie”Iruvar” in tamil and” Iddharu” in Telugu. Her hit songs include the films like Bhairava Dweepam, MURAARI, ADAVI RAMUDU, MAJNU, ANJALI I LOVE YOU, PREMA CHADARANGAM, GHATIKUDU and to the latest film AYYARE.
She has worked with all top music director’s like A.R.RAHMAN, ILAYARAJA, MANISHARMA, VIDYASAGAR, HARRIS JEYRAJ, MADHAVAPEDDI SURESH, KOTI to name a few.
She also performed many shows all over the world and also performs with her Mother in law on a regular basis. Her shows along with the second generation singers like S.P.CHARAN and VIJAY YESUDAS are well talked abt in the Asian countries.
