Yulia Shisko

Yulia Shisko born on January 28, 1989 in Petrikov, Belarus. Soon her step-father, a military man, was reassigned and Julia together with her parents moved to another town. After moving the family broke up. Her mother took the divorce hard and couldn’t get through depression. She left Yuliya in her grandmother’s care and moved in an unknown direction.
Early life
From the very childhood the girl considered education to be a pass to success and was excellent in her studies. She dreamt of an opera singer career and of the big stage. She was sure she inherited vocal ability from her mother. After the 9th form she entered a music college, department of choral conducting. Being a college student she saw an announcement of the casting to TV show New Voices of Belarus. She prepared costumes and rehearsed a program with her teacher. The aim of Yuliya’s participation in the project was to prove that people with academic education may also be popular and successful.
Yuliya became a finalist of the TV show and got an invitation to the main state orchestra of Belarus.
Career
She obtains a higher education at music department of Belarusian State University of Culture. She confessed that may cross-stitch pictures of various complexity all night long. She likes presenting finished works to friends and relatives and seeing their ingenuous smiles. She appreciates decency and discipline in people, and tries to develop the same in herself. She likes symphonic music and kind movies. She is keen on foreign languages. She dreams of a large united family. She considers persistence, self-determination and decency to be her major virtues.
Eurovision
Yulia along with will represent Belarus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010.
