The Young Liberals of Laval (Quebec French: Jeunes Libéraux de Laval) is the municipal youth wing of the Liberal Party of Canada under the jurisdiction of Candidate Angelo G. Iacono. The Young Liberals of Laval is the largest political youth organization in Laval, Quebec. It has been estimated that the YLL has nearly 350 members at various periods, and has a strong presence in Canada’s Alfred-Pellan riding. The current President of the YLL is Giacomo Maggiore. Founding In an attempt to attract young liberal supporters Angelo G. Iacono cofounded the Young Liberals of Laval with the enthusiastic member of the Liberal Party, Giacomo Maggiore. Relationship to the Liberal Party of Canada The Young Liberals of Laval, promote the perspectives, policies, and ideas of the members who have not yet celebrated their 28th birthday. At times, that may imply that the Young Liberals of Laval do not always agree with the Liberal Party of Canada. In order for the YLL to promote and push for change, it must engage young Canadians to participate in politics. Importance of YLL Motivate young Canadians to take part in the decision-making of their country. Ensure that the voice of the youth are heard and not forgotten.
