Latvian Young Farmers club (JZK) is a voluntary youth public non-government organization which unites young farmers, their family members, rural youth and others who are at least 16 years old and are interested in rural region development. Main activities Non-formal education for youth • Experience exchange forums. • Camps for 7.-9. class students about career choice and entrepreneurship in rural regions. • Seminars and trainings for new leaders. • Voluntary job. • Traineeship programs. Promotion of rural regions development • Contests about rural development. • Thematic weeks about different farming branches and career education. • Taking a part in decision making about important subjects who will make impact in rural development. Goals 1. Promote entrepreneurship and rural development. 2. Protect and promote Latvian new farmers interests regionally nation wide and internationally. 3. Deliver opportunity for rural youth to get knowledge and experience in professional and non-formal education fields. To strengthen rural societies. 4. To create motivated and self-confident youth. 5.
