You Read, They Learn is a year-long initiative by Hindustan Times to help educate underprivileged children in Delhi-NCR, India. According to Hindustan Times , the initiative will fund the education of over 10,000 children over the year. The initiative kicked off on 19th April and as the first step, textbooks were inserted in copies of Mint and Hindustan Times circulated in Delhi-NCR. Readers were requested to share these text books with underprivileged kids. HT has partnered with Pratham Delhi Education Initiative and Child Rights And You (CRY) to utilise the funds for bringing underprivileged children to school. The initiative's microsite includes stories of change, of people making a difference and of readers’ contribution to the lives of underprivileged children.
