Yoketron

Yoketron is a fictional character in the 2009 television series Transformers Animated. Transformers Animated Yoketron was a great cyber ninja who trained other Cybertronians in martial arts. Among his students were , the disgraced Cyber Ninja-turned-bounty hunter , and . According to show designer Derrick J. Wyatt, Yoketron transformed into a Cybertronian race car. Yoketron's name is a tribue to Takara lead designer Hideaki Yoke. Animated series Yoketron appears in the episode "Five Servos of Doom" during a flashback of Prowl's training during the Great War. Yoketron took the young Prowl under his servo when Prowl was arrested for draft dodging by Warpath. Yoketron took to training Prowl as a cyber ninja. When Prowl was on an optics quest, Yoketron's dojo was attacked and ridden of the protoforms it had. In the process, Yoketron's helmet was stolen by the bounty hunter Lockdown, who was also a student under him. When Prowl returned, Yoketron lay gravely wounded in the protoform chamber. Prowl tried to revive Yoketron by putting his spark into a left-behind protoform. This failed as Yoketron refused to sacrifice a protoform to save himself, and he went offline. Millions of years later, in the mid-21st century, Prowl confronted Lockdown and recovered his late master's helmet from the bounty hunter. He wore the helmet as part of his new armor until his death in the final episode of the series.
