Yogi Bush

Yogi Bush is the title of a short cartoon which appeared on the satirical animated show 'VH1 Illustrated' in 2004. The cartoon was based on the Hanna Barbera cartoon Yogi Bear.

In the cartoon, Yogi Bush (a merging of Yogi Bear and U.S. President George W. Bush) and Bubu Cheney (a similar combination of Bubu and U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney) are warned by Ranger Gore(based on Al Gore) not to drill for oil because some 'very important people' (Barbra Streisand and Woody Harrelson) are to arrive at Jellystone Park with the promise of contributing money to the park.

While Ranger Gore is showing the park to Streisand and Harrelson, they come upon Yogi and Bubu drilling for oil, in the interest of getting 'rich, just like Saudis'. The oil rig is located in a 'pristine fresh water lake', while oil trucks ship the oil across 'federally protected wetlands'. Yogi Bush enthusiastically pumps oil until the unit starts to malfunction, spraying oil everywhere, while Bubu tries in vain to greet Streisand, who ignores Bubu and leaves the park in disgust.

Ranger Gore proceeds to chase Yogi Bush and Bubu (with concurrent sound effects from the original show) while Yogi calls Streisand a 'bitch' for not shaking Bubu's oily hands.
