Yewande Sadiku

</ref> in September 2016 by President Muhammadu Buhari. Before her appointment to head NIPC, she was Executive Director of Corporate and Investment Banking at Stanbic IBTC Bank. She was executive producer for 2013 Nigerian film Half of a Yellow Sun.
Early life and education
Yewande Sadiku grew up in Zaria and Lagos, Nigeria. She attended the International School Lagos for her secondary school education. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Benin, in 1992. In 1995, Sadiku obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Warwick in United Kingdom.
Career
Sadiku worked at Nigeria International Bank Limited, now Citibank Nigeria from 1992 to 1994. She joined the Investment Banking & Trust Company Limited (IBTC) in January 1996 and worked there till it became Stanbic IBTC Group. She became the Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Capital, the Group's investment banking arm in November 2012.
On 25 September 2016, she was appointed as the Executive Secretary/CEO, Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), the agency responsible for encouraging, promoting and coordinating investments in the Nigerian economy.
