The Deenway Montessori School

The Deenway Montessori School is an independent Islamic school in Reading, Berkshire. It is the only Islamic Montessori school in the UK to take children up to the age of 11. It is also the only Islamic secondary school in the UK to follow a liberal arts curriculum. Annual school fees are between £5,700 and £6,120. The school is split into a primary school for students aged 3 to 11 and a secondary school for students aged between 11 and 16. A JustGiving page was set up in an attempt to raise £700 000 in order to buy the school building, however by December 2020 the page had raised just £12 339. Despite this, the school remained at its previous site on Sidmouth Street. Curriculum At the primary level, pupils follow a Montessori curriculum.
