An HTML editor is a software application for creating web pages. Although the HTML markup of a web page can be written with any text editor, specialized HTML editors can offer convenience and added functionality. Overview The XSitePro HTML editor was created (Version 1) in 2009. It is a web development application created by Intellimon Ltd, makers of other software products such as XHeader and XCommentPro, as well as website design and Internet marketing courses. XSitePro is available for Windows operating systems and also for Mac computers, when installed on a Windows virtual environment such as VMware or Parallels. Developmental history Version 1 XSitePro Version 1 was launched in 2009. Version 2 XSitePro Version 2 has both a RSS feed integration (javascript), social bookmarking widgets , XML feed generator , a mobi site generator . The mobi site generator is particley aimed at those who have websites frequented by smart-phone net-surfers. Version 2.1 XSitePro version 2.1 was launched in early 2010. Version 2.5 The most recent release of the web design software, version 2.5, incorporates some web 2.0 related features such as the Facebook and Twitter buttons, as well as both ClickBank advertising, a keyword replacer, tag clouds and tag lists. Development was started in May 2010 and it was released in Beta form in the August of 2010 The fully stable version was releaserd on February 28, 2011.
