xl Notes is a notetaking add-in for Microsoft Excel. It can be used to take notes, save web-pages and attach files to cells. xl Notes addresses shortcomings of managing non-numerical information in Excel as one can either use plain text in cells or comments, but can’t save formatted text, pictures or any objects in cells. xl Notes also addresses traditional rigid tree structure of outliners and offers innovative approach of combining spreadsheet structure with outliner and web browser capabilities. In more detail, the program allows to: Create text notes for selected cell Save web pages and bookmarks to notes Attach files to notes Import content from text files to notes Import content from comments to notes Search in notes Copy notes from selected cells into one document xl Notes is a shareware program.
