Wyatt DuBois

Wyatt DuBois is Director of University Public Relations at Pennsylvania State University. He is a staunch critic of hazing and has led the university's public relations affairs amidst the Penn State fraternity hazing scandal.
Career
In 2020, DuBois assisted university faculty in handling targeted harassment conducted on social media. DuBois mitigated salary concerns within the university's Education Department in 2023.
During the 2024 United States presidential election, DuBois informed the Associated Press that select newspapers had to be removed from Pennsylvania State University Libraries due to political interference. The newspapers showcased advertisements for Kamala Harris along with voter registration information.
In October 2024, DuBois sent an email to parents of Penn State students warning of a dangerous rise in hazing across the university.
After an advisory board member of Penn State York, Jonathan Spanos, posted a video to social media in November 2024 utilizing racial epithets, DuBois distributed the following statement to the media:
“This hateful language has no place in our community and is not reflective of the University’s values or our desire to foster an inclusive environment.”
A political battle between the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and Penn State occurred in December 2024 when the university contracted with Greystar rather than the union to build a 1,500 bed student housing project. DuBois, however, informed the union that the housing development will not be owned or operated by the university.
