Professor Suleiman Akwuodo Salihu Aruwa

Professor Suleiman Akwuodo Salihu Aruwa (born August 24, 1971 in Idah, Kogi State) is a Nigerian Professor of Accounting & Finance. He is the current president of .He also serves as the contact person on the International Association for Accounting Education & Research (IAAER).

Early life and Education
Professor Suleiman Akwuodo Salihu Aruwa was born in Kogi state, Nigeria 1971 he attended Nigeria Arabic Central School, Idah, Kogi State and Federal Government College, Port Harcourt. He studied Accounting in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and received a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Finance and later a Ph.D Accounting & Finance from the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna.
Career
Professor Suleiman Akwuodo Salihu Aruwa is the Dean of Faculty of Administration at Nasarawa State University keffi. He became a professor in the Nasarawa State University, Keffi in October 2014. He also served as an Associate Professor in October 2011 in Nasarawa State University, Keffi. He became a Senior Lecturer November 2008 in Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
He became a Lecturer I at the University of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory in February 2007 and has served a lectures in several institutions including the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna and Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna as Lecturer II and Part-time Lectures respectively.
Entrepreneurship Development
Professor Suleiman Akwuodo Salihu Aruwa has dedicated most of his career and life to the development of youths and entrepreneurship in Nigeria. He founded the Youth Entrepreneurship Society (YES) to build Young Entrepreneurs.He also founded the Network and Movement for Academic Culture and Ethics (MACE) to build professional Ethics in Academia.
He was the pioneer Director of Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) in Nigeria for Nigerian Entrepreneurs, and Governmental and Financial Accounting Research (GAFAR) Centre, Nasarawa State University, He pioneered the establishment of Department of Entrepreneurship Studies in the Nasarawa state university.
Environmental and Social Impact
Professor Suleiman Akwuodo Salihu Aruwa was a member of the Technical Review Panel on the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) in proposed Taraba state University Wukari, Taraba State for the Ministry of Environment Nigeria.
He also served as a Socio-Economic Expert, Technical Review Panel on the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of Proposed Marble Exploration and Quarrying Project in Kogi State for the Ministry of Environment Nigeria in Nigeria.
In November, 2011 he was a Socio-Economic Expert Technical Review Panel on the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the Proposed 230MW ISO Gas Turbine Power Plant Project in Ughelli, Delta State for Ministry of Environment Nigeria.
