Wrestling With Wregret

Wrestling With Wregret is a series of comedic reviews created by American wrestling personality Brian Zane. His reviews are centered around professional wrestling, specifically WWE, but also WCW and TNA. Since 2013, there have been six seasons (with one mini season), totalling Three hundred and eighty episodes in 2017.
Background
Brian Schiedel (born January 10, 1985), is an American professional wrestling manager and former professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Brian Zane. He was born in Portland, Oregon, He later attended the University of Oregon in Eugene. Intrigued, he would seek out more about it by watching WCW's Nitro, and then going back and forth with Raw, when the two programmes had the same time slot. Gangrel, David Flex, Erik Baeden, Timothy Thatcher, Jody Kristofferson and Paul Isadora. Whilst his managerial style is a clear nod to Jim Cornette, he also cites Paul Heyman as a major influence. From 2007 to 2010, he also headed a stable named "Z-Man Enterprises", which consisted of Baeden, Flex, Dustin Snyder, The Wildcard, Domestic Partnership (Bobby Fletcher and Deryck Crosse), Kellen Raeth, Jay Maddix, Ricky Mandel and Mike Dempsey. on February 17, 2017 Brian Zane became the manager of the Classic Connection (Buddy Royal and Levi Shapiro) in All Pro Wrestling
In June 2013, he launched Wrestling With Wregret, after noticing that there was an distinct absence of comedic wrestling reviews on YouTube. His main influences are Nostalgia Critic, Angry Video Game Nerd and Todd In The Shadows. Vince Russo and Matt Hardy. Other segments on the show include: Kayfabe Kitchen, where Zane makes recipes from the official WWE cookbook, Getting Into the BiZ, a Q&A where he answers questions from people wanting to get into the wrestling industry, Who War It Better, a weekly review of Raw and Smackdown Live back-to-back, following the 2016 brand split, and multiple top 8 lists. Whilst the majority of content is based on the past, Zane also focusses on current storylines and events, though this is usually unscripted. Brian's work has been featured on the Rolling Stone website on a February 23, 2017 article titled "The Slow Death of the Great Professional Wrestling Promo".
Zane works as a creative services producer for KTVN.<ref name="ktvn"/> He currently lives in Reno, Nevada with his wife and daughters.<ref name="q and a"/>
