WorldVentures is a United States privately-owned network marketing company, specializing in leisure travel products and travel membership packages through the Internet. The company was launched on December, 10 2005, and is headquartered in Plano, Texas.
Leadership
The company was started by co-founders Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue.
In March 2011, CEO Mike Azcue was named a Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters International.
Industry Recognition
WorldVentures was featured in SUCCESS FROM HOME Magazine in July 2010. In June 2010, Direct Selling News listed WorldVentures as number ninety in the DSN top 100 Direct Marketing Corporations, globally, based on a 2009 Wholesale Corporate Revenue of $90.2 Million. In 2010 Ernst & Young nominated Mike Azcue and Wayne Nugent for the 2010 Southwest Entrepreneur Award. WorldVentures was ranked 994th overall and 4th for travel on Inc. 5000 for 2010.
Charitable Activity
In 2010 WorldVentures executives created the Manifest Foundation. The Manifest Foundation is an independently operated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in the state of Texas in the United States.
The Manifest Foundation has partnered with several Texas based charities. In 2010, the Manifest Foundation, along with the Nancy Lieberman Foundation and Sport Court® dedicated a basketball court in Frisco TX, a suburb of Dallas, as part of the DreamCourt project. The court is the first of thirty courts planned for cities across the United States. Nancy Lieberman was joined by Jason Terry, of the Dallas Mavericks, at the dedication. Both placed their signatures on the court.
