WorldExtend

SecureIDA
WorldExtend originally started in the free VPN solution, their product was called SecureIDA. SecureIDA provided a free VPN solution to its users, allowing them to publish up to 2 applications and 2 desktops to the web and it additionally allowed users to create VPNs to needed data and more. SecureIDA received thousands of downloads, and thousands of users and sign-ups. SecureIDA was the only free VPN product on the market at the time and the product was based on a "Open Source" type model. The product would be critiqued by hundreds of thousands of users and future enhancements would be based off downloaders' feedback. SecureIDA was praised by many leading IT administrators and Doug Brown a Microsoft MVP had this to say "Simply put, SecureIDA is not just another Citrix alternative but due to its architecture it is a very cost effective solution allowing you to quickly and easily gain access to the resources you need, no matter where they reside." SecureIDA required little setup, administration and can be ready in minutes to deliver applications, desktops and more remotely easily and securely.

WorldExtend
In 2008 SecureIDA evolved to a paid model with much more functionality than its predecessor. SecureIDA become what is now WorldExtend's IronDoor Agent. The IronDoor Agent acts as a secure gateway to your data, network, applications, desktops and routers, all of which are accessiable from a single webpage (web portal). You can then simply click the icon of the resource you want to launch and the WorldExtend IronDoor "brokers" the connection. The IronDoor Agent is now featured as a subscription service rather than a free download. It is available in 15 day download and 48 hour demo.

IronDoor 3.5
IronDoor 3.5 was officially released in June, 2008 which allowed users to easily web-enable windows applications to multiple or many users, create secure SSH connections to needed resources, allow access to desktops, routers, and more. All that is needed was one install of the less than 1 megabyte IronDoor Agent on the network. All your resources are accessible from a web-based application portal, which can consolidate resources from multiple locations, including multiple Citrix farms. Additionally WorldExtend offers a very unique and effective approach on security, it's Ø-Port technology featured in IronDoor 3.5.
