World of Warcraft guild

A World of Warcraft Guild is a clan, or group, of people who play on the same World of Warcraft server. These people commonly work together to complete in-game accomplishments, which require an extended amount of players, such as Raids and end-game content. A Guild typically consists of a Guild Master and a variety of officers and other members. Custom 'Ranks' may be assigned to specific members, along with varying degrees of Guild permissions at the discretion of the GM. Many Guilds choose to develop their online indentity through Forums, dedicated Websites and posting Videos on YouTube that detail their various adventures and Raids. Through such activity, some Guilds have established a considerable amount of fame on the internet. Others have received notoriety through entirely different means, such as Overrated. |
