World Federation of KSI Muslim Communities

World Federation of Khoja Shi'a Ithna-asheri Muslim Communities is an international umbrella organization of Shi'a twelver organization that engages in education and charity work, organizes conventions and publishes books.
Overview Established in 1976, it is aimed to be a umbrella organization of global scale for uniting isolated Shi'a twelver Khoja communities under its leadership .
Their scope and achievements been dramatically extended over the years, while their objectives remain the same: #promoting the Shia faith worldwide #alleviating poverty, disease and dependence #educating community members #facilitating, funding and supporting communal endeavours #rising to the assistance of Shia communities internationally within its capacity #improving the relationship between the Shia Muslim community with the West and Sunni Muslim community.
Its primary activity is publishing books (see below); the organization also holds annual conventions and participates in emergency relief efforts.
History
The World Federation was formed in 1976, in response to the diaspora of non-African Muslims from Uganda caused by Idi Amin's persecution .
Its current president is Ahmed Hassam
