The World Bearing Association is a non-profit and unincorporated association focused on issues impacting the global bearing industry. History and organization It was founded in 2006, by three major regional bearing associations: the Japan Bearing Industrial Association (JBIA), the and the Federation of European Bearing Manufacturers’ Associations (FEBMA). Participation in this initiative is voluntary and limited to manufacturers of roller bearings. As of January 2010, the participating companies are JTEKT (Koyo), Nachi, NSK, NTN (SNR), SKF, Schaeffler Group (INA and FAG), and Timken. Principles and objectives WBA promotes the common lawful interests of the world bearing industry: - Open economic engagement, without anti-competitive trading practices and policies.
