Work4 Labs, now known as Work4, is a San Francisco-based software company that develops Facebook recruitment applications.
History
Stephane Le Viet worked to develop software that would exploit Facebook’s large population as a talent sourcing pool. Working with Gautier Machelon, Le Viet founded Work4 Labs and created the Work for Us app in June 2010. Without a sales team, Work4 Labs contracted with 4,500 clients by December 2010. Work4 Labs ended the year by winning the 2011 OnRec Recruiting Award for Excellence in Social Recruitment.

In 2012 and 2013, the company grew to about 80 employees, building its product, sales, customer success, ad support, and marketing teams to meet the demand for robust social recruiting solutions. Work4 now supports over 20,000 companies, including 60+ members of the Fortune 500 in their social and mobile recruiting strategies. In June 2013, Work4's customers reached a milestone of posting 6 million jobs on Facebook.
Aside from contracting with more enterprise clients, Work4 has also secured partnerships with global HR and talent management companies like Lumesse, Technomedia, Bernard Hodes Group, SuccessFactors, WCN, eQuest, the National Association for Health Care Recruitment, HRSmart and more.
Career Page Solution
The Work for Us app, which is now the Career Page Solution, has several features that allow companies to post, advertise, and share open positions. In March 2012 Work4 launched a new version of its app for Facebook’s new Timeline layout.
Reception
Work4 has had success with its Facebook Recruiting Solutions in many industries. As the recruitment industry gains awareness, more and more thought leaders are pointing out the inevitability of the shift to Facebook for recruiting and sourcing. With the many changes that Facebook has made to its platform this year, especially with the release of Graph Search and more jobseeker-related content, Facebook seems to be positioning itself for more obvious involvement in the recruitment industry, which is a role that Work4 is positioned to fill. In 2012 Work4 Labs has qualified as a Red Herring top 100 finalist, won the Gartner Cool Vendor Award and the Bersin & Associates Learning Leaders Award for Vendor Innovation in Learning and Talent Management. In 2013, Work4 was named a "Top Startup" by TiE Silicon Valley. Work for Us is used by companies in more than 50 countries in more than 55 languages.
