Woodville Hall is a Sheffield Hallam University owned and maintained accommodation building located on Broomhall Road, Sheffield.
The building is one of several catered halls of residence situated in and around the Collegiate Campus of Sheffield Hallam University.
The other halls are Broomgrove Hall, and Marshall Hall, which is in fact joined to the Heart of Campus building at Collegiate Campus.
A strong inter floor rivalry exists between all floors, with the exception of the ground floor, who being made up of senior residents remain neutral from the conflicts between the floors.
The building
It has 5 Floors, the ground floor consisting of flats instead of individual rooms with shared bathrooms as in the rest of the building.
Woodville is split into two sides, A and B, separated by a landing with lift and stairwell access on all floors. Eeach side has a toilet and shower area for communal use.
Woodville Hall is one of the older of the three Catered Halls provided at Collegiate Campus, along with Broomgrove hall which is virtually identical, albeit in a worse condition. Marshall Hall has undergone work to modernise it to bring it into line with the Heart of Campus Building.
