Wizzogmb

Mario Fernandez, better known as Wizzo or wizzogmb, is a Mexican-American hip-hop/electronic producer, recording/mixing engineer, and DJ based in Santa Ana, California. He was born to Mexican mother and father in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and raised in Inglewood, Union City and Santa Ana, where in these travels he became interested in music. He has worked with LilJon, Boosie, DJ Drama, Iggy Azalea, Ryan Leslie, Nipsey Hussle, Yg, Skeme, Dom Kennedy and more.
Biography
Wizzo began his recording carrier recording many of the local artist in Santa Ana, and establishing a name for himself through founding GMB recording studios, and unique sound and quality of his engineering. After having mentored for Actual Eyes Media, a small post production studio in Studio City, Ca. Wizzo, had a sharp ear for engineering and mastering of professional audio recordings. Early in his childhood he acquired knoledge electronics engineering, circuit design and a deep understanding of sound and its mechanics.
In December 2010, Wizzo began collaborating with American rapper Nipsey Hussle, and released The Marathon, which featured "U dont Got A Clue" , which was produced By Wizzo . XXL made the mixtape the 49th best mixtape of 2010 and praised Nipsey's ability to bring back an earlier era of West coast hip hop music.
In 2011 Wizzo and Nipsey would collaborate again on "The Marathon Continues", this time, Wizzo and Nipsey worked closely on recording and engineering. His network of producer colleagues; to recruit production, talent and help manifest the goals of the team. Wizzo was credited executive music producer alongside engineer colleague Danny Mota. On February 14, 2012, Nipsey released another mixtape, TMC: X-Tra Laps that consisted of leftover songs from the recording sessions for The Marathon Continues. From such collaborations, Wizzo went on and collaborated with other musicians recording sessions and helping with mixing on various songs and projects for the emerging LA hip-hop music culture, working longside LA natives, Skeme, Audio Push, and Dubb.
On September 16, 2013, Nipsey Hussle announced he would release a new mixtape titled, Crenshaw hosted by DJ Drama, on October 8, 2013. Wizzo would go on to provide a major role as a recding engineer, executive music producer and collaborating on the track title " Crenshaw and slauson, True Story" On December 24, 2013, XXL named it the second best mixtape of 2013. They commented saying, "Nipsey Hu$$le changed the course of hip-hop releases with the promotional run for Crenshaw. The unsigned rapper was able to make $100,000 by selling 1,000 copies for $100 each.
On December 17 2013, Skeme and Wizzo released "Inglworld" wich receaved 3 mics from "The Source" Magazine, and was commended for its sonic performance. Wizzo would be credited Executive Producer, Mixer and also as a music producer. Wizzo would collaborate alongside Sean Momberger to produce "Different" which was released as a single. Wizzo would also produce "Million Dollar Meetings" and, "WhatYoLifeLike?!" ft Nipsey Hussle. He would then go on to assist Skeme and Dom Kennedy in the "Get Home Safely" tour which was reserved for 32 cities.
On December 31 2014, Nipsey would drop another mixtape, this time selling copies for $1,000, and releasing the digital versions for free. Wizzo and Ralo would team up to work on "Killa". According to Nipsey Hussle, he has sold 60 copies of the limited retail version of the album (which cost $1,000) as of 1/24/2015.
