Witch Wraith

Witch Wraith is an upcoming 2013 fantasy novel by Terry Brooks and is the final book in his The Dark Legacy of Shannara trilogy. The book will release on July 16, 2013 through Del Rey Books, and is set 100 years after Straken and chronicles the attempts of two sisters, Arling & Aphen Elessedil, to prevent a breech in the Forbidding.
Summary
The Four Lands has had the demons locked up in the Forbidding for nearly a thousand years. Now the magic wards keeping them locked up is eroding, and the demons, angry over a thousand years of imprisonment, are about to escape and seek their revenge.
Elf sisters, Aphen & Arling Elessedil, must not only re-close the breech in the Forbidding, but also have to deal with the Federation’s diabolical Prime Minister at the same time.
Reception
Publishers Weekly gave a mixed review, commenting that "Diehard Shannara fans may savor these inflated chronicles, but others will find themselves helplessly stranded in watered-down-Tolkien country".
