WISEnut, Ltd. (CEO: Kang Yong Seng) was established in 2000 and it is number 1 company in the field of analysis, crawling and search solution of big data based on artificial intelligence. Since its foundation, company has been guiding the direction of artificial intelligence basis big data analysis, crawling and search technology based on internalized natural language processing technology and big data analyzing technology. Also, company provided E-government of Mexico in Latin America with search solution in 2004 for the first time as a Korean company and it extends its market to global big data market.
History
In 2016, WISEnut provides various industries such as public, financing, manufacturing, communication, broadcasting and media with artificial intelligence basis big data analysis, crawling and search solution. WISEnut has been verified for its export capability by being selected as export promised company of ‘K-Global data global’ and B5M, its Chinese subsidiary, successfully attracted USD 43 million scaled investment for series C from global investment enterprise.
In 2015, WISEnut expanded its business area in Korea and overseas market and made various kinds of partnership and cooperative relationship. It extended overseas market by visiting Central/South America and United States with President Park as a member of economic mission and made a business agreement with Luminoso which is global enterprise specialized in artificial intelligence basis big data analysis.
In 2014, WISEnut was selected as excellent SW medium-small enterprise which is good to work and its quality excellence was proved by being awarded for grand prize of 2014 electronics ITC industry patent management and top prize of the first Korea software quality contest. Especially, the company attracted great attention of people by providing interested netizen’s mind analysis through ‘Choice 2014’ which is Korean style election big data analysis site regarding ‘2014 Korean Nationwide Local election’.
In 2013, Scott, Yong Seng Kang was appointed as new CEO and the company progressed into global big data market in earnest. Especially, the company supplied its solution in Japan in earnest through distributorship agreement with Hitachi Solutions (CEO: Kaichiro Sikuma) which is the biggest SI company of Hitachi Group.
In 2010, WISEnut developed Japanese and Chinese language morpheme analyzer jointly with iZeneSoft which is research and development incorporation in Shanghai, China to upgrade the quality of search solution. And, in March 2010, the company launched WISE TEA that is text mining solution and introduced WISE Referee which is search solution for plagiarism/analogy in June so big data solution products group of WISEnut was strengthened.
WISEnut changed company name from Korea WISEnut to WISEnut in 2009 to develop global market beyond Korean market. The company was recognized for its technology interchange with local companies in Japan initiated by its Tokyo office, which made the company win commendation from the minister of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy in ‘Korea-Japan Industrial Technology 2009’. WISEnut also held joint seminar with Google Korea for the subject regarding building citizen site in public institutes.
In 2008, WISEnut established R&D center iZeneSoft in Shanghai, China for Asian market extension and global technology cooperation together with R&D center of head office and opened Tokyo office in Japan.
In 2007, WISEnut started its launching in U.S. by supplying search solution to NBC.com which is the biggest news portal in U.S. and it was selected as only one Korean search solution enterprise in “Tech Fast 500 Asia-Pacific” which selects high speed growing companies in Asia-Pacific region. WISEnut joined a USD8.5 million club for turnover for 2 years in a row for the first time in the search solution industry.
In 2004, WISEnut launched in IT market in Central-South America by constructing unified search site for Mexican government for the first time in the industry of search solution market.
WISEnut established Korea WISEnut Co. Ltd. in 2000.
