William C. Laufer

William C. Laufer is an American
Bill was born in Cleveland OH. He started his career at the age of 12 as an actor in summer stock musicals shows in Gates Mills, Ohio. During high school at Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School in Cleveland, Bill continued his acting, again in more musicals while also playing trumpet in the school orchestra & band.

Bill graduated from Georgetown University where he was a member of the prestigious Mask and Bauble which was founded in 1852, and is itself the oldest continuous dramatic society in America. Bill continued his directing at the Gates Mills Straw Hat Theater where he directed several musical shows to include Bye Bye Birdie and Li'l Abner. After Georgetown, he completed his MBA at Case Western Reserve University and in 1988 got his CPA.
His business career has included ownership of a recording studio, manufacturing companies and investment banking experience. In 1995, he co founded CatholicNET.com, the web portal. His community service includes the Parliament of the World's Religions, and work as the past President of The Friends of the Cleveland Institute of Music Board, the L'Arche - Cleveland community, Georgetown University Board of Governors and the Georgetown University Club of Cleveland.
In addition to Christmas at Maxwell's (IMDb http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0420550/) , which Bill (IMDb http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1680272/) wrote and directed, he has written four other feature screenplays. Bill’s daughter Tiffany also graduated from Georgetown University and they are both members of the Georgetown Entertainment and Media Alliance (GEMA). Today, Bill is co-producer along with his daughter of Laufer Film.
