Wild Blue is a New York City-based exploration, adventure, and education center for children, ages 3-11. The company opened it's New York City space--located at 401 East 76th St in Manhattan--in October 2007. Offering day and after school programs, as well as summer programs and birthday parties, Wild Blue focuses all of its activities on exploring the geography, wildlife, people, and cultures of the world. Another major component of Wild Blue is the expeditions they offer for kids and their parents. Wild Blue has already taken trips to the Bahamas and the Arctic Circle . Wild Blue is also the only children's education institutions in New York City to offer skateboarding lessons for kids. Wild Blue was founded by Kourosh Mahboubian, a seasoned explorer and adventurer who previously founded Mad Dog Expeditions. Mr. Mahboubian, a member of the prestigious Explorer's Club has extensive experience scuba diving in places as varied as the Arctic Circle, the Amazon River Basin, and under the ice of Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire.
