Lee Zalben, nicknamed the Peanut Butter Guy, (born 1973, in Philadelphia) is a cookbook author and the creator of Peanut Butter & Co., a sandwich shop in Greenwich Village, New York City. Founded in 1998, the shop specializes in gourmet peanut butter sandwiches. The Peanut Butter & Co. brand of all-natural gourmet peanut butter is available at over 10,000 natural food stores, specialty food shops and supermarkets throughout the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Zalben is a graduate of Vassar College where he majored in Urban Studies. He also earned an MSc in Publishing from Pace University.
