Why Cue

Jayquan Cutler (born November 9, 1991), better known by his stage name Why Cue, is an American rapper and record producer from New York City. He first gained recognition for his work with former Jive Records artist Lil B. At age 11, Cutler started writing music on cassette tapes under the moniker Young Quan.
Career
Cutler was encouraged to pursue a career in music by his stepfather who was a DJ. Cutler first received national radio airplay on New York City's Hot 97 as a featured artist on Roswell Gray's track "I Get Around" which also featured D4L's Shawty Lo. In 2019, Cutler dropped his debut independent project Xxotic. The lead single "Cappin Alert" was featured in Hip-Hop Weekly, DJ Enuff and The Source.

Cutler lists Ice Cube, 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa, Dipset, Gunna and Lil Baby as his primary influences.<ref name=":3" />
