Whiteley Primary School is a state school in Fareham, Hampshire. It opened in September 1997. As of September 2011, there are 76 members of staff. History Whiteley Primary school opened in September 1997, and consisted of a number of portacabins and a small playground space. It held 100 pupils. In March 1999, the school moved into part of a new building which was still being built when the school opened. The building made the school a 2 form entry primary school, housing 420 pupils, the original idea. But due to increased housing development near the school, it was made bigger. It can now hold 630 pupils, (7 year groups, 3 form entry, 30 pupils per form). Co-curricular activities The school has few clubs, mainly music and sport clubs. There are two choirs, junior and senior. There is an after-school cricket club, as well as a karate club, and an orchestra. At lunchtime, there is a rubik cube club, a book club, a handbell club and a few others (see the citation link). The clubs are all weekly occasions.
