Whit Smith

Whit Smith, born on June 24th, 1964 in Greenwich, CT is an American jazz guitarist and vocalist.
Touring:
Founding Member of the Hot Club of Cowtown in 1997. Whit has toured worldwide with the Hot Club of Cowtown throughout the US, Canada, Asia, Europe and The Caucasus. In 2002, Hot Club of Cowtown toured through the UK with the The Mavericks developing a solid following and resulting in 2 appearances on the Jools Holland television show and numerous live BBC radio performances. These include The Radcliffe and Maconie Show and Bob Harris. In 2004 they landed the opening slot on the Field of Dreams Tour with Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan.
Whit's signature guitar and amplifier are a 1946 Gibson L-5 guitar and a 1937 Gibson EH-150 amplifier.
