When The Moon Rises is a true story writte by Tony Davies. It is about his journey across a war plaged Italy under, for half of the book, Mussolini's rule. Plot The story starts when Tony Davies is in a ship about to be transported from Africa to Italy. about 30 pages into the book he escapes for the first time. He loses all his luggage, money,food and a little bit more when he escped from the train. He manages to ecscape from Guards with his friend who was injured in the fall. Later on in the book they get captured again because he took the risky decision to walk right past a German General and his Guards by looking normal. It dosen't pay off. They then escape again. During this part of the book they take refuge from civillians annoyed with war. The end of the book is a............surprise. |
