The West Suburban Faith Based Peace Coalition, or more simply the WSFBPC, is a Chicago-based NGO, committed to supporting peace and social justice. The members of the Coalition generally are associated with peace churches or other religious communities within the western Chicago metropolitan area, and the Coalition is also one of the participant organizations within the wider Illinois Coalition for Peace, Justice and the Environment. The activities of the Coalition include: online dissemination of peace news; peace and social justice advocacy; lobbying governments and authorities; peace education; advocacy for the vulnerable; prayer vigils; promotion of writing within the field of peace and justice; promoting international peace agreements, such as the Kellogg-Briand Pact; and promoting inter-faith dialogue.
