Web App Generator for Enterprise is an enterprise edition of the WAG Web App Generator SaaS platform.
The Enterprise Edition is a distinct product from the SaaS product because it is installed on premise in the enterprise data center as opposed to the SaaS version.
It is a RAD product for creating advanced mobile and web apps graphically in the enterprise, without programming, using a development environment that runs in all major browsers and on tablet devices including iPad and Android tablets.
The resulting apps run on all major mobile devices including iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry as well as on all major desktop browsers and inside the Facebook Canvas.
All supporting back end services for running mobile and web apps including databases, web services and BLOB storage are automatically created as the app creator graphically draws their app.
Apps created on the platform can be posted to app stores individually or through a container app which enables multiple apps to be delivered and changed without requiring additional app store submissions or user downloads.
High speed access to corporate data is enabled via the Secure Endpoint without requiring approaches such as web services and VPN.
