Weafer

Weafer is a surname of Viking origin, meaning “chosen one” or “hand of”.

The name has also been traced to Norman ancestry (France), used to denote a trade, "Wafereur", a maker of eucharistic wafers and not necessarily an anglicized version of similar sounding "Weaver" or "Wever".

Alternate spellings include Weaver and Wever.




It is also a term used describe short people who are highly intelligent. Examples include Albert Einstien, Abdul Kalam, Paul Patrick John, Pablo Picasso.
