Wayne Herschel born in 1959 ,wayne now resides in cape town,South Africa.he is an amature astronomer and symbologist. Herschel is the co-author of the book The Hidden Records. Publications Herschel's work regarding the purported pyramid star map connection is embodied in the self-published work The Hidden Records. It is built, in part, upon the work of Ove von Spaeth, comparative star patterns which are purported to match architectural monument layouts, and work by Robert Bauval known as Orion Correlation Theory (OCT). Bauval's theory claims that the three middle stars in star constellation Orion's belt mirror the position and scale of the three largest pyramids of the Giza pyramid complex in Egypt. Herschel argued that Bauval's theory could be applied in a much larger context and he claims to demonstrate that detailed star maps are represented in: nearly all Egyptian Pyramids; pyramids in Tikal, Guatemala; Teotihuacan, Mexico; Angkor, Cambodia; ancient mound structures near and related to Stonehenge. In his latest claims, Herschel says he has deciphered an important pictogram from a grimoire called the Key of Solomon (British Library Oriental MS 14759, dated to the 17th or 18th century), which Herschel takes to reveal similar secrets about the "celestial origins of humanity". Reception Herschel has been interviewed by local and regional African periodicals such as The Sunday Argus, The Daily News, and Sunday Times KZN,. He has been guest on several talk radio shows including Coast to Coast AM, Unknown Country, RedIce, and The Hillary Raimo Show.
