Walker Buehler

Walker Anthony Buehler (born July 28, 1994) is an American college baseball pitcher for the Vanderbilt Commodores baseball team, representing Vanderbilt University.
Career
Buehler attended Henry Clay High School in Lexington, Kentucky. he fell in the 2012 MLB Draft to the 14th round, where the Pittsburgh Pirates selected him, due to his strong commitment to enroll at Vanderbilt University, where he intended to play college baseball for the Vanderbilt Commodores baseball team. Buehler opted not to sign with the Pirates.
Baseball America ranked Buehler as the top freshman in college baseball in 2013. Buehler was named a semifinalist for the Dick Howser Trophy. In the 2014 College World Series, Buehler provided innings of scoreless relief in a game against the UC Irvine Anteaters. In the championship series against the Virginia Cavaliers, he was chosen over Tyler Beede to pitch in the first game.
Buehler is considered by MLB.com to be a potential top 10 pick in the 2015 MLB Draft.
