Marquis Fleming

Marquis Deshun Fleming (born September 11, 1988) is an American professional baseball pitcher in Minor League Baseball for the Lincoln Saltdogs of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.
Career
Fleming attended St. Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, California and California State University, Stanislaus, where he played for the college baseball team. In 2008, he was named a Second Team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association, West Region Pitcher of the Year by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, California Collegiate Athletic Association Pitcher of the Year, and Cal State Stanislaus co-male athlete of the year.
The Rays drafted Fleming in the 24th round of the 2008 MLB Draft. The Rays assigned Fleming to the Arizona Fall League in 2011 and invited him to spring training in 2012, though he did not make the team. In 2014, Fleming pitched for the Lincoln Saltdogs of the independent American Association of Independent Professional Baseball.
