Voyage Manager is a UK based travel technology and travel tracking company. Voyage Manager provides automated travel management and tracking solutions to organisations with international operations. Organisation Voyage Manager has a presence in the UK as well as Australia, with key personnel in both locations and its Headquarters is in Cambridge UK. History Voyage Manager Ltd was founded in September 2010. The Voyage Manager product was initially developed by Blackwave Ltd as a commercialization of its free consumer based travel and disaster notification service ShoutSafe. In September 2010 Blackwave Ltd. decided to spin off its Voyage Manager service into a separate company by the same name. ShoutSafe - Asian Tsunami John Scott, the founder of Blackwave Ltd was in Sri Lanka when the 2004 Asian Tsunami hit. He was fortunate to be on higher grounds when the event occurred, although he had been a beach that was totally devastated by the tsunami only a day earlier. John noticed that everyone, friends and family, all wanted know that he was safe. This drove him to develop ShoutSafe, a free travel and disaster notification service. Duty of Care Voyage Manager assists organisations fulfil their Duty of Care obligations within the context of travel risk management by helping to organise an appropriate strategy to minimise risk and to protect human assets.
