VMKnoppix is a Linux live cd containing collection of Virtual Machine Softwares, Xen, KVM, VirtualBox, QEMU, KQEMU(QEMU with Accelerator) and UserModeLinux. It had built based on Knoppix ( Linux distribution ), It comes with pre-installed Virtual Machine applications ( freeware only ) The advantages of using VMKnoppix * it's a live CD distribution, which means you don't have to install/reinstall the OS on your hard drive just because you want to try out some virtualization technology * Most of virtualization solutions as part of the distribution See Also Live CD Linux distribution |
