Visitor visa

A visitor visa, also referred to as tourist visa, is a legal document given to a visitor or traveler to any visiting a host country in the form of a passport stamping. Visitors visa is typically given to a non-resident citizen of any other country who crosses national borders to travel outside his or her home country to foreign destination which is the visiting country.
Australia
The visitor visa (subclass 600) is a temporary visa which is stamped in passport, this travel visa is issued to short-term visitors to Australia as tourists, for business or to visit family or friends.
Europe
The Schengen Borders Agreement permits visitors to Europe's Schengen area consisting of 26 European countries. With a single Schengen visa, a traveler who qualifies can apply to travel freely in the Schengen states.
UK
Visitors to UK and their familymember or children who plan travel to Britain need to apply for a visitor visa as a general visitor, family visitor, child visitor (age below 18), ADS visitor (group of Chinese nationals for lass than 30 days), business visitor, prospective entrepreneur, entertainer visitor, sports visitor, transit visitor, and other related classification.
United States
Visitors to USA would typically need a US visitor visa for the visiting the United States. Before travel, the visitor must first obtain a visitor visa which is a nonimmigrant visa for temporary stay in America, for business (B-1 visa category), tourism, pleasure or visiting (B-2 visa category), or a combination of both purposes (B-1/B-2 visa category).
Students, temporary workers, journalists and business persons planning to travel to the U.S. for a purpose other than that permitted on a visitor visa, must apply for a specific visa in the appropriate visa category.
Exchange visitors to the US need the Exchange visitor visa which is commonly referred as the J-1 visa in the US. International students studying in America need the Student visa which is commonly referred as the F-1 visa in the US.
Foreign citizens from certain eligible countries may also be able to visit the U.S. without a visitor visa, through the US Visa Waiver Program, if they meet requirements. Additionally, citizens of Canada and Bermuda traveling for visitor visa purposes don’t need a visa, with some exceptions.
