Virginia conn(Born 1953 Oklahoma) is an American poet and playwright. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago and did graduate work (all but thesis) at SUNY University at Buffalo. Her poetry has been published in Cimarron Review, Primavera, Crime Club, A.I.M., Buffalo News Poetry Page and most recently, a contributor to Letters to the World: Poems from the Wom-Po listserv. She has published 3 chapbooks: Ah, Eve (Ligia Press: 1998), Trouble is My Business (All Else Failed Press: Buffalo 1996) and Barbie in a Box (Word Outa Buffalo: Buffalo 1998.) Her full length play, License, has had readings in New York City and Buffalo. Her play Shelter, received a reading in Tucson, AZ. She currently resides in Las Vegas, NV. |
