Villa Susana is arguably the oldest subdivision in the Philippines. It is located in Caniogan, Pasig City. It is adjacent to the Rizal High School, separated by Tatlong Bayani street. Originally owned by the Quiogue family, some portion of the land still belongs to the present-day generation. One of the first subdivision in the Philippines was developed by Antonio Quiogue. In the first inception of subdivision development the streets were built very narrow, not anticipating that every household would have cars years later. Antonio's wife Maria Javier inherited the land. The streets were named after Maria's brother and sisters. Susana was the name of Maria's mother. A pocket village in Barangay Caniogan Pasig City comprised Isidro Street, Andrea Street, Jacinta Street, Maria Street, Juana Street, and A.Quiogue Street named after him. Poor health have prevented him to continue developing more land. There are only very few ancestral home left in the village, most of it were gone and has been replaced with newer homes.
