London Buses route 414

London Buses route 414 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Maida Hill and Putney Bridge tube station, it is operated by Abellio.
History
The number 414 had previously been used for a major trunk route running between West Croydon bus station and Horsham railway station via Redhill and Dorking. In addition, Arriva Southern Counties operates a 414 route from Dartford to Horton Kirby via South Darenth.
Route 414 commenced operation on 23 November 2002 to augument route 14 south of Hyde Park Corner. It was one of a number of new routes introduced in preparation for the commencement of the London congestion charge in February 2003.
The route was originally operated by First London's Westbourne Park garage with Dennis Trident 2s. Upon retendering it was taken over by Abellio London's garage on 21 November 2009.
Routing
The 414 originally linked Maida Vale and Fulham High Street. On 14 June 2003, the route was extended south to Putney Bridge tube station. On 29 January 2005, the route was rerouted at Clifton Gardens, Edgware Road to Maida Hill.

Route 414 runs between Maida Hill and Putney Bridge tube station.
