Video spokesperson

A video spokesperson is a speaker elected to speak for a company, business, or organization who will record video in a studio tailored to that particular category. Typically a Video Spokesperson will record video scripts intended for use in TV commercials or website commercials. The term is also used to describe the annotation or inclusion of interactivity of online videos, such as overlay advertising (internet video overlay).
Various methods to use a video spokesperson are in use:
* A video spokesperson shoots video in a studio usually in front of a chroma key background. This gives the video producer flexibility to edit and encode the video for use in a TV commercial or web commercial.
* When implementing a video spokesperson on a website you remove the background alpha channel typically used for in the box video as used on YouTube, by removing the background and leaving it transparent so the video spokesperson can then walk out or float over the website. This is referred to as video overlay.
* Many Video spokespeople or spokesperson have been used in corporate branding to sell or promote a product or service especially popular for celebrity endorsements. In the past and foreseeable future a video spokesperson will be used on TV Commercials and websites.
* Video spokesperson technologies are continuing to be used to create a personalized greeting or message allowing a company, business, or organization to connect with a targeted online market.
