Free King Enterprises

Free King Enterprises (FK) is a corporation based in Southern Idaho; primarily Twin Falls and Pocatello. FK is well known for their innovative approach to products and services, focusing less on selling to the customer in favor of educating and giving the freedom of choice. The origin of Free King’s name is often debated; some speculate that it means freedom (of choice) is power (like a leader), while others consider the name to simply be a random choice of words. Free King is highly media-centric with a channel on YouTube and live streams on USTREAM.
History
2008-2009: Founding
Following years of dissatisfaction with the industry standards of customer service, and more specifically, the lies told by numerous corporations, D Williams decided enough was enough. Recruiting the help of long time friend A Hopper, the two laid the foundation of what was sure to become a highly successful business enterprise. After failed attempts in years past to bring attention to the people of the injustices of the world, it was clear that an alternative was needed for the people and the success of their ideas.
Project F and associated acts
Deciding to discard the failed approaches of the past, Free King Enterprises was born. A humble operation consisting of two main computers located miles away from each other saw the birth of DNA Media, a digital media channel. Utilizing the power of video and the popularity of YouTube, Project F was released to the people. The message was simple: you have a choice, choose the best. It was at this time that the company had a real slogan, “Choose the Best.” The video was met with mixed reviews, but Williams and Hopper did not give up. Following Project F was three new releases. FK Video two followed the style created with Project F. FK Video three was a departure from that, focusing on subliminal marketing, to arm the people with the knowledge of what large corporations use to attack them with. FK video four was a defense of the business against several angry internet users. This was when the company knew that to reach people; they had to try a new approach.
Subsidiaries
Project Marathon
Project Marathon is an upcoming business venture by Free King Enterprises. Details of the project have not been made public, although two videos promoting the project are available on YouTube. The company’s website is also offering wallpaper for Project Marathon. More details will be released in the coming months.
DNA Media
DNA Media oversees all of Free King’s audio and video output, including Free King Records and Pyrite Radio. Pyrite Radio is an online radio service in the works, with the intention of delivering the finest in Free King Records’ music, one-of-a kind talk shows and commercials for new FK products and services. Pyrite Radio is expected to be launched November 2009.
Violent Motion
Violent Motion is an experimental electronic band signed by Free King Records early 2009. The band has released a five track EP titled Corporate Machine. The single “Silent Majority” was featured on this release with a remix. The album was released to people free of charge on Free King’s website. In addition to the website release, physical copies of the CDs were distributed in several cities free of charge.
Violent Motion is in the studio recording their first full length album “All Roads Lead to Bankruptcy”. The album will feature nine new tracks that build on the style of Corporate Machine, but take it to the next level. The band is expecting success from the tracks “Mutual Disagreement” and “Retail Revolution”. All Roads Lead to Bankruptcy is expected to be released this holiday season.
