Victor Okoye

Victor Okoye ( a.k.a Victor O'Frank) (born 10 January 1989) is a Independent film director and screenwriter.
Early life
He was born in Anambra State, Nigeria where he lived most of his life and later moved to Ukraine, to study medicine at the Kyiv Medical University. After graduation, he then moved to New York in 2016 to study film making in New York Film Academy.
Career
While still a medical student, Victor wrote and directed an award winning documentary Creative Minds, which won best documentary at the 2014 edition of Afrinolly film competition. After his study at New York Film Academy, he also wrote and directed his award winning short film Purpose. He won the Best director for a short documentary at . He is an emerging voice of his generation and a board of advisor with Art With Impact, a group that creates films that addresses mental health.
