Vesko Petrovic

Vesko Petrovic (born 1965) in Kotor, is a retired Montenegrin international footballer, who predominantly played in an attacking role. During his career he played for Rabat Ajax, Valletta, St. Patrick, Xagħra United, and Dingli Swallows.
Career
At 27, Petrovic moved to Malta, having being signed by Rabat Ajax. He became well-known in Malta and apparently excelled, becoming known for his free kicks and long-distance shots. He was injured by a Sliema Wanderers F.C. player and retired after 2 years. After his injury he came back to play amateur football with Valletta St.Pauls, with whom he won 8 consecutive championships, and was captain for some time. His professional career started in 1981 and ended in 2000.
