Vegetarian Campaign Nepal

The campaign under the slogan, “Let’s be vegetarian” is launched by Vegetarian Campaign Nepal and jointly supported by other organisations including Shree Krishna Pranami Youth Council Nepal, Nepal Kennel Club, Nepal Bouddha Ngima Sangh, Sant Kabeer Ashram, Baneswar, NepalAnimal Welfare and Research Center, Brahmakumari Rajyog Kendra, Osho Tapoban and other communities urging for vegan lifestyle. The main objective of campaign is non -violence and world peace and also is concerned about vegetarian diet and lifestyle promotion. The campaign has been launching public awareness program to end animal sacrifice in Nepal targeting Kathmandu Valley, Hetauda, etc. In spite of not having legal provisions in Nepal for barring animal violence, the campaign aims end malpractice of animal sacrifice that are taking place in the country in the name of religion and culture.
